About

Christophe (Chris) is responsible for co-leading the European Secured Lending ("ESL") Strategy at Ninety One. He is a member of the ESL Investment Committee and is responsible for portfolio management, investment execution and team management.

Chris has 25 years of experience in European and U.S. opportunistic and distressed credit, private equity investing and M&A advisory. Prior to joining Ninety One, Chris was the founder of Sterndale Capital Partners and a Managing Director at Oak Hill Advisors (“OHA”). At OHA, Chris was a member of the firm’s $2.7 billion Strategic Credit Fund investment committee and responsible for European opportunistic and distressed credit investments. Prior to OHA, Chris was a senior investment analyst at Värde Partners, where he helped build the firm’s successful European credit business between 2006 and 2013. Earlier in his career, Chris worked in private equity at BC Partners and in M&A advisory at Bankers Trust.

Chris is French and American and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics cum laude from Georgetown University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School. He speaks fluent French and German.
