Puleng is an investment specialist in Ninety One’s Emerging Market Alternative Credit team. She works primarily on the Emerging Africa Infrastructure Fund and is responsible for, among others, credit analysis and due diligences, managing finance transactions, credit applications and reviews project and loan documentation, and origination of transactions.

Prior to joining the firm, Puleng was an associate transactor in Energy & Infrastructure Corporate Financing Solutions, Corporate Investment Banking at The Standard Bank of South Africa. Before that she was a manager in Power & Infrastructure financing, Deal Advisory at KPMG (SA); after completing her articles programme and being a senior accountant in the Consumer Markets and Technology, Audit division. She was also an investment analyst at Futuregrowth.

Puleng holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Economics and Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting from University of Cape Town, and is a Chartered Accountant (South Africa).
