Part 1: Are you putting your family’s needs ahead of your financial health?

In most families women are the kinskeepers; they are the glue and foundation that keep families together and manage the family’s relationships with the outside world. However, in the role of caregiver, we are more likely to put the needs of others ahead of our own. This can lead to burnout – physically, emotionally, and financially. We need to find a way to continue to be the kinskeepers in a sustainable way. This is about changing the conversation with our children, our parents, our partners but most importantly, with ourselves.
