Esther is an investment specialist in asset allocation within the 4Factor team in South Africa, focusing on the muli-asset funds. Prior to this she worked in the Fixed Income team responsible for covering the emerging markets corporate sector.

Before joining the firm, she worked at Ashmore UK where she was a Latin American credit portfolio manager responsible for managing the South American portion of the Emerging Market Corporate funds. From 2005 to 2014 Esther worked at Aberdeen Asset Management, initially based in Singapore, focused on Asian corporate bonds. In 2007, she transferred to London to join the Emerging Market team and built the Emerging Market Corporate fund and team there.

Esther was named in Financial News’ “Rising Stars of Asset Management” (2010) and “40 under 40 Asset Management” (2011, 2013), and in the Asset Magazine’s “Most Astute Investors in Asia G3 denominated bonds” (2012, 2013). Esther graduated with a Law degree from University College London and is also a CFA® Charterholder.
