Fernando is a credit analyst in the Alternative Credit team at Ninety One.

Prior to joining the firm he worked as an equity analyst at Tower Capital Management (South Africa) where he covered Industrials and Real Estate and also helped manage Tower Capital’s Core Income Fund, a credit fund of funds. Prior to this Fernando spent two years at the Public Investment Corporation, Africa’s largest sovereign wealth fund, where he was an Assistant Portfolio Manager in the Listed Real Estate team.

Having studied at the University of Cape Town, Fernando graduated cum laude in 2011 with a Bachelor of Commerce degree (Hons) in Financial Analysis and Portfolio Management. He also obtained a Bachelor of Science degree (Hons) in real estate in 2009 and is a CFA® Charterholder.
