Sahil is a Director of Ninety One’s Investment Institute. Based in London, he is responsible for macro, thematic and asset allocation research. Under Sahil’s stewardship, the Investment Institute leverages the firm’s expertise to deliver proprietary insights on macroeconomics, sustainable investing, geopolitics and portfolio construction, supporting Ninety One’s investment teams and clients in navigating financial markets.

Sahil joined Ninety One in 2018 from Deutsche Bank’s thematic research division. Previously, he served as an economic advisor to former UK Chancellor George Osborne. Sahil’s research and commentary have appeared in publications including The Economist, The Financial Times, and The Wall Street Journal. He graduated from Harvard University with an AB in History in 2008.
