Tom is the Managing Director of the UK Client Group at Ninety One. The UK Client Group is responsible for all client relationships within the UK & Ireland and coordinates engagement with Global Investment Consultants. Tom leads a team that serves existing and prospective clients across all parts of the UK asset management landscape. Ninety One’s UK client group works with financial advisors, wealth managers, banks, life companies, fund platforms, investment consultants, institutional clients including DB & DC pension funds, local government pension schemes and a variety of strategic partners including sub-advisory relationships.

Before joining the client group, Tom spent 6 years as an investment director within the Fixed Income team at Ninety One, leading a team responsible for product management across the range of Fixed Income strategies. In this role Tom represented the Fixed Income team and its strategies with clients, as well as helping to develop solutions for clients and dealing with complex queries.

Prior to that he was a manager within the UK & Ireland Client Group, responsible for developing the firm’s institutional client base, working directly with public and private sector pension funds, charities, investment consultants and other institutional organisations.

Previously Tom worked for UBS Global Asset Management within the UK Client Relationship Management team, supporting prospective and existing institutional clients. Tom graduated from Loughborough University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Banking, Finance and Management, and is a CFA® Charterholder
