UK Sustainable Equity strategy

The UK Sustainable Equity strategy aims to provide long-term capital growth and income by investing in companies that make a positive contribution to society and the environment. Managed by Ninety One’s Quality team, the strategy focuses on three ‘pillars’ of sustainability – financial sustainability, internal sustainability and positive impact – and primarily invests in the shares of UK businesses.

“It is crucial for investors to analyse how well a company manages its relationships with stakeholders – including workers, customers, suppliers, local communities and society more broadly. This can have a major bearing on the company’s growth potential, and in extreme circumstances on its ability to function at all.”
Matt Evans
