Imran is Co-Head of Developed Market FX & Rates at Ninety One. He is responsible for Absolute Return Multi-Asset Strategies, including the Target Return Bond Strategy, and is a member of the Foreign Exchange & Rates and Macro research groups. Prior to joining the firm, Imran was a portfolio manager at Aberdeen Standard, and before that he was a portfolio manager at JPMorgan Asset Management. His stint as global emerging markets strategist at Royal Bank of Scotland included periods based in London, China and New York. Imran holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from University of London and a Master of Philosophy in Technology Policy from University of Cambridge. He was a research assistant at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and holds the Investment Management Certificate.
