Nigel is the Managing Director of the UK Client Group at Ninety One. The UK Client Group is responsible for all client relationships within the UK & Ireland and coordinates engagement with Global Investment Consultants. Nigel leads a team that serves existing and prospective clients across all parts of the UK asset management landscape. Ninety One’s UK client group works with financial advisors, wealth managers, banks, life companies, fund platforms, investment consultants, institutional clients including DB & DC pension funds, local government pension schemes and a variety of strategic partners including sub-advisory relationships.
Previously, Nigel was Chief Marketing Officer for Ninety One after initially joining the firm as Global Head of Product Development in 2013. Prior to joining the firm, Nigel was Product Strategy Director at M&G Investments, where he built and led a multi-functional team of product developers, in addition to responsibility for wider business development strategy.
Nigel graduated with first class honours from Loughborough University in 1997, received the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) in 1999 and completed an executive MBA programme with Harvard Business School in 2016-18. He has served on various industry committees and bodies including the UK’s Investment Association.
