Chris Miller

About

Chris Miller is an Assistant Professor of Economic History and International History at the Fletcher School at Tufts University.

He is currently writing a book on the political history of the computer chip titled Chip War, which will be published in 2022. Professor Miller previously served as the associate director of the Brady-Johnson Program in Grand Strategy at Yale, a lecturer at the New Economic School, a visiting researcher at the Carnegie Moscow Center, a research associate at the Brookings Institution, and a fellow at the German Marshall Fund’s Transatlantic Academy.

He received his PhD from Yale University and his BA from Harvard University. His previous books include Putinomics: Power and Money in Resurgent Russia, The Struggle to Save the Soviet Economy, and We Shall Be Masters.
