South Africa’s energy woes are well documented – not only is there inadequate generation capacity but more than 90% of electricity is generated by coal-fired plants. In a first for South Africa, our Cape Town team – in partnership with the City of Cape Town and our landlord – has pioneered a unique solution that will not only meaningfully bolster our own efforts to be more sustainable and green our power, but also set the precedent for corporate South Africa to follow suit.
