Katherine co-heads the North America Institutional Client Group at Ninety One, responsible for business development and strategic relationships with institutional investors, consultants and stakeholders across the US and Canada.
Katherine joined Ninety One in 2012 to build the firm's Investment Institute, a thematic research and client engagement platform that today forms part of Ninety One’s Global Multi-Asset investment team. In 2017, she helped launch Ninety One Canada which has successfully grown into a multi-billion-dollar business, providing customized investment solutions to a diverse range of sophisticated institutional investors.
Prior to Ninety One, Katherine was Head of Africa at the World Economic Forum responsible for CEO and government engagement at Davos. She started her career in investment banking and private equity with roles at BMO Capital Markets, CIBC Capital Partners, and HSG-Stonehage Fleming.
Katherine currently serves as the Chair of the Board of the Investor Leadership Network, a CEO-led initiative of the G7 representing over $10 trillion in AUM, she is a Moderator and Fellow of the Aspen Institute Finance Leaders program and sits on the Board and Investment Committee of Women’s College Hospital Foundation in Toronto.
Katherine holds a Master’s degree from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Victoria, and FINRA Series 7,63 licenses.
