Alec is an analyst in Ninety One’s 4Factor team, focusing on China equities.

Prior to joining the firm he was head of Hong Kong/China Small-Mid Cap & Property Services at CLSA, responsible for equity research & advisory services to institutional investors. Before that he was an investment analyst at Sun Hung Kai Properties, in charge of advisory on corporate strategies, potential investments & M&As. Alec has also worked with Merrill Lynch and Grand Alliance Asset Management in Hong Kong.

Alec holds a Master of Philosophy in Economics and a B.S.Sc. in Economics from the The Chinese University Of Hong Kong. Alec is a CFA® Charterholder.
