About

Vivienne is an Investment Director within the South African Institutional Client Group responsible for product management across a range of Fixed Income strategies. As a founding member of the EMD team at Ninety One, Vivienne plays a key role in shaping our sovereign sustainability framework. Vivienne has also held roles within the South African Fixed Income Team, the Portfolio Specialist team, and portfolio manager and regional specialist responsibilities covering Southern African and Latin American bond and currency markets.

Prior to joining the firm in 2002, Vivienne worked in London at Mizuho International and Standard Bank, initially specialising in South African fixed income before moving into sales and trading across the whole spectrum of emerging market debt. After university, she worked at First National Bank trading South African bonds, bond options, FRAs and swaps.

Vivienne graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand with a Bachelor of Commerce degree majoring in Economics and Commercial Law and a postgraduate Law degree. She has also completed the London School of Business Investment Management Programme.
