Nigel is UK CEO and SMF1 (the FCA-accountable executive) for our Investment Manager, Ninety One UK Limited, and our Authorised Corporate Director, Ninety One Fund Managers UK Limited.

Nigel joined Ninety One in 2013, after 16 years with M&G Investments. Initially as Global Head of Product, he was responsible for all of Ninety One’s product platforms around the world. Then, as Chief Marketing Officer, he oversaw the re-brand to Ninety One from Investec Asset Management and was a core member of the de-merger team. More recently, Nigel was Managing Director of Ninety One’s UK Client Group, responsible for all institutional and adviser client-facing activity in the UK. Now as UK CEO, Nigel brings together all this commercial and governance experience for Ninety One’s UK business.

Nigel completed an executive MBA programme with Harvard Business School in 2016-18. He chairs the Investment Association’s Investment Funds Committee.
