Janine joined Ninety One in 2011 as legal counsel. She was appointed as the principal officer of the Ninety One Retirement Funds from February 2012 to present.

Prior to joining the firm, she was employed by Old Mutual PFA where she served as a legal advisor from January 2008.

Janine holds an LLB degree from the University of Stellenbosch, an LLM in Tax Law (UNISA), a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning (University of Stellenbosch), an Advanced Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning (University of Free State), and a Certificate in Pension Funds Law (UNISA).
