Elias is a portfolio manager in Ninety One's Quality investment team, based in New York. He is lead portfolio manager of the International Franchise strategy and portfolio manager of the Global Franchise strategy. In addition, he is responsible for global equity idea generation and research. Before joining the firm, Elias was a managing director at Thornburg Investment Management, where he served as an Associate Portfolio Manager for the Thornburg Global Opportunities Fund. Prior to that, he worked at Dodge & Cox, conducting global equity research in the capital goods, medical devices, and chemicals sectors. He began his career as an investment banking analyst at Lehman Brothers / Barclays Capital. Elias received a Master of Business Administration from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science from Brigham Young University, where he was a presidential scholar.
