Domenico ‘Mimi’ is Co-Chief Investment Officer and is a member of the firm's executive management.

He joined the firm in 1992 as one of the founding members, and held various leadership roles across the business before becoming Co-Chief Investment Officer. He has helped build and develop our investment capabilities both regionally and globally. Mimi was appointed Co-CEO of the firm together with John Green during an 18 month period while current CEO Hendrik Du Toit guided the Investec Group through a strategic review and demerger.

Mimi graduated from the University of South Africa with a degree in Commerce.
