Balwinda is a portfolio specialist in the Fixed Income team at Ninety One focusing on Emerging Markets Fixed Income and Developed Markets strategies.

Prior to joining the firm, Balwinda worked at Barclays Investment Bank as a salesperson in Emerging Market Credit Sales, covering institutional clients in Europe and the UK. Prior to Barclays, Balwinda worked at RBS and ABN AMRO, providing sales coverage in global rates and emerging markets fixed income and FX products.

Balwinda graduated from the University of Nottingham with a BA in Economics.
