Bringing our clients together from around the world, Investing for a World of Change will push the boundaries of the virtual experience as we present live from our studio in London connecting globally with experts in Cape Town, New York and Hong Kong. You will have the opportunity to watch, listen, interact and network with a global audience from the comfort of your home or office.

Join Mark Carney, former governor of the Bank of Canada and governor of the Bank of England from 2012 to 2020 who features first on the programme alongside Ninety One CEO, Hendrik du Toit to challenge the investment industry on whether we are doing enough to secure a sustainable future. Speaking on climate change, Mark Carney notably said “This will affect the value – in some cases positively, in some cases negatively – of every single financial asset”.

We then move to the five dominant themes set to shape the Road to 2030 having a major impact on asset allocation and investment decisions. Changing demographics and unprecedented debt burdens only worsen for developed nations. While the rise of China and the role of technology are set to accelerate in a post COVID-19 era. Climate change and the decarbonisation transition has the potential to radically shift portfolio allocation approaches. These themes form the basis of extensive research developed by Ninety One’s Investment Institute and our programme brings this to life setting out a framework for investors to challenge their portfolio allocations when investing for a world of change.

We look forward to joining you on Tuesday, 10 November as we broadcast to all corners of the globe.
