Christophe 'Chris' is responsible for co-leading the European Credit Opportunities (“ECO”) strategy at Ninety One. He is a member of the ECO Investment Committee and is responsible for portfolio management, transaction origination and team management.

Chris has 23 years of experience in European credit investing, private equity and investment banking. Prior to joining Ninety One, Chris was a Managing Director at Oak Hill Advisors (“OHA”) and a member of OHA’s $2.7 billion Strategic Credit Fund investment committee. Prior to that, Chris helped build Värde Partners’ successful European distressed credit business from 2006 to 2013. Earlier in his career, Chris worked in private equity at BC Partners in London and in M&A advisory at Bankers Trust in New York.

Chris is French and American and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics cum laude from Georgetown University and a Master in Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School.
