Nkhumeleni is an investment specialist within Ninety One’s South African and African Credit team responsible for credit analysis and idea generation, with a special focus on the resources sector and African credit opportunities.
Prior to joining the firm he was a senior credit manager at Nedbank CIB where he was responsible for credit risk management for the Global Commodities Trade Finance, Export Credit Finance and Aircraft Finance business units and managed a team of three credit professionals. Before that he was an account manager at the Industrial Development Corporation where he performed financial due diligences within the chemical industry business unit. He completed his articles at Deloitte and Touche where he focused on financial services.
Nkhumeleni holds a Bachelor of Business Science in Finance (Honours) degree as well as a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting. He is a Chartered Accountant (SA) and CFA® Charterholder.
