Alper Kilic is the Head of Alternative Credit at Ninety One, responsible for leading and expanding the firm’s Emerging Market Alternative Credit platform. In this role, he oversees a team of over 40 investment professionals, driving the growth of private credit and infrastructure capabilities to establish Ninety One as a global leader in emerging market credit solutions.
Alper brings over 27 years of experience in banking and structured finance. Prior to joining Ninety One in January 2025, he was the Global Head of Project and Export Finance at Standard Chartered Bank. His leadership also spanned roles as Regional Head of Corporate Finance for Europe and Regional Head of Loan Syndications for Africa. Before Standard Chartered Bank, Alper spent 11 years at Citi in Istanbul and London covering a wide range of financing products in Corporate Finance and Structured Trade Finance.
Alper holds an MBA in Corporate Finance from the University of Dallas and a BSc in Metallurgical Engineering and Material Science from the Middle East Technical University in Turkey.
