Rhynhardt Roodt is the Chief Investment Officer of Equities and a member of the executive management team. In this role, he oversees the firm’s equity investment capabilities, shaping investment strategy, portfolio management, and research across the asset class. He continues to lead the 4Factor investment team, managing global equity portfolios for some of the largest asset owners globally. Since joining Ninety One in 2004, Rhynhardt has held a range of investment roles encompassing fundamental equity research, multi-asset investing, and portfolio management. From 2008 to 2010, he broadened his experience at Oryx Investment Management, where he served as a research analyst and portfolio manager before rejoining Ninety One. Rhynhardt holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Financial Management Sciences and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Investment Management (cum laude) from the University of Pretoria, as well as a Master of Financial Management (cum laude) from the University of Cape Town. He is also a CFA® Charterholder.
